Innerhalb der App ist dieses Impressum dauerhaft, leicht erkennbar und unmittelbar (mit höchstens zwei Klicks, unter der Bezeichnung „Impressum") erreichbar – im Bereich „Du" / „You" – sowie unter https://pyfinn.github.io/calist-legal/impressum.html im Internet abrufbar. Sofern in der App oder im App-Store-Eintrag eine Webseite verlinkt ist, wird einheitlich die kanonische Domain des Anbieters verwendet.
4. Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer (§ 5 Abs. 1 Nr. 6 DDG)
Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer gemäß § 27a Umsatzsteuergesetz (UStG):
Sofern keine Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer und keine Wirtschafts-Identifikationsnummer im Sinne des § 139c Abgabenordnung (AO) erteilt bzw. vergeben wurde, entfällt diese Angabe. Es werden keine Steuer- oder Identifikationsnummern angegeben, die nicht tatsächlich vergeben wurden.
5. Aufsichtsbehörde, Kammer- und berufsrechtliche Angaben (§ 5 Abs. 1 Nr. 3, 5 DDG)
Die mit Calist angebotene Tätigkeit (Bereitstellung einer Anwendung für allgemeines Fitness-, Trainings- und Ernährungsmanagement) ist nicht zulassungs- oder genehmigungspflichtig. Eine zuständige Aufsichtsbehörde im Sinne des § 5 Abs. 1 Nr. 3 DDG ist daher nicht anzugeben.
Es wird kein reglementierter oder kammergebundener Beruf ausgeübt. Angaben zu einer berufsständischen Kammer, zur gesetzlichen Berufsbezeichnung, zu berufsrechtlichen Regelungen oder deren Zugänglichmachung (§ 5 Abs. 1 Nr. 5 DDG) sind daher nicht erforderlich.
6. Verantwortlicher im Sinne des Medienstaatsvertrags (§ 18 MStV)
Verantwortlich für die Anbieterkennzeichnung im Sinne des § 18 Abs. 1 MStV ist:

Eine Benennung eines Verantwortlichen für journalistisch-redaktionell gestaltete Inhalte gemäß § 18 Abs. 2 MStV ist nicht erforderlich: Calist stellt eine funktionale Trainings- und Ernährungs-Anwendung bereit und enthält keine journalistisch-redaktionell gestalteten Angebote im Sinne dieser Vorschrift. Sollten künftig solche Inhalte (etwa ein Blog oder Magazin) angeboten werden, wird ein Verantwortlicher nach § 18 Abs. 2 MStV mit Namen und Anschrift ergänzt.
7. Verbraucherstreitbeilegung / Universalschlichtungsstelle
Hinweis nach § 36 Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz (VSBG):
Der Anbieter ist zur Teilnahme an einem Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle weder bereit noch verpflichtet.
8. Hinweis zur EU-Online-Streitbeilegung (OS)
Die Europäische Kommission hatte unter https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr eine Plattform zur Online-Streitbeilegung (OS) bereitgestellt. Diese Plattform wurde nach Mitteilung der Kommission eingestellt; eine außergerichtliche Streitbeilegung über die OS-Plattform ist seither nicht mehr möglich. Dieser Hinweis wird aus Transparenzgründen beibehalten. Im Übrigen gilt der Hinweis unter Ziffer 7.
9. Plattform- und Vertriebshinweise (App Store)
Calist wird über den Apple App Store vertrieben. Die in der App angebotenen Abonnements werden über den Apple App Store abgeschlossen und abgerechnet; Apple tritt insoweit als Zahlungsabwickler auf. Anbieter der digitalen Leistung bleibt der unter Ziffer 1 genannte Diensteanbieter. Einzelheiten zu Vertrag, Preisen, Verlängerung, Kündigung sowie zum Widerrufsrecht (einschließlich Widerrufsbelehrung und Muster-Widerrufsformular) ergeben sich aus den Nutzungsbedingungen/AGB. Dieses Impressum enthält keine vertraglichen oder verbraucherrechtlichen Pflichtangaben; diese sind ausschließlich den Nutzungsbedingungen/AGB zu entnehmen.

Die Datenschutzerklärung ist nicht Bestandteil dieses Impressums.

Information pursuant to Section 5 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, DDG) and Section 18 of the German Interstate Media Treaty (Medienstaatsvertrag, MStV) for the mobile application "Calist" (hereinafter the "App" or "Calist").

The provider is a sole proprietorship (individual merchant business / natural person). A summonable address (i.e. an address at which legal documents can be served) is provided above; a post office box is not sufficient and is not used. Where the provider has no separate business premises, the address stated is the provider's actual (home/establishment) address. The address stated above is the authoritative one.
2. Legal Form and Supplementary Company Information

The same Legal Notice is reachable from the App Store listing (support / marketing URL). Where a website is linked within the App or in the App Store listing, the provider's single canonical domain is used consistently.
4. Value Added Tax Identification Number (Section 5(1) No. 6 DDG)
Value added tax identification number pursuant to Section 27a of the German Value Added Tax Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz, UStG):
Insofar as no value added tax identification number and no economic identification number (Wirtschafts-Identifikationsnummer) within the meaning of Section 139c of the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung, AO) has been issued or assigned, the relevant line above is to be left blank and this information does not apply. No tax or identification numbers that have not actually been assigned are stated; invented numbers are never provided.
5. Supervisory Authority, Chamber and Professional Regulatory Information (Section 5(1) Nos. 3, 5 DDG)
The activity offered with Calist (provision of an application for general fitness, training and nutrition management) is not subject to any licensing or authorisation requirement. A competent supervisory authority within the meaning of Section 5(1) No. 3 DDG therefore need not be specified.
No regulated or chamber-affiliated profession is exercised. Information on a professional chamber, on the statutory professional title, on professional regulations or on how to access them (Section 5(1) No. 5 DDG) is therefore not required.
6. Person Responsible within the Meaning of the Interstate Media Treaty (Section 18 MStV)
Responsible for the provider identification within the meaning of Section 18(1) MStV is:

The designation of a person responsible for journalistic-editorial content pursuant to Section 18(2) MStV is not required: Calist provides a functional training and nutrition application and does not contain journalistic-editorial offerings within the meaning of that provision. Should such content (for example a blog or magazine) be offered in the future, a person responsible pursuant to Section 18(2) MStV (with full name and address) will be added.
7. Responsibility for Content / Liability for Links
As a service provider, the provider is responsible for its own content on these pages in accordance with the general statutory provisions. The provider is not, however, obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general statutory provisions remain unaffected; any liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which knowledge of a specific infringement of the law is obtained. Upon becoming aware of any such infringements, the provider will remove the relevant content without undue delay.
Where this Legal Notice or the App refers to external websites operated by third parties (for example the Apple App Store, the provider's data-protection sub-processors or the dispute-resolution links below), the provider has no influence over their content; responsibility for such external content lies solely with the respective provider or operator.
8. Copyright
The content and works created by the provider within the App and on the associated website are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, processing, distribution and any form of exploitation beyond the limits of copyright require the prior written consent of the respective author or creator.
9. Consumer Dispute Resolution / Universal Arbitration Board
Notice pursuant to Section 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, VSBG):
The provider is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).
10. Notice on EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
The European Commission previously made available a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. According to a notice from the Commission, this platform has been discontinued, so out-of-court dispute resolution via the ODR platform is no longer available. This notice is retained for transparency. In all other respects, the notice under Section 9 applies.
11. Platform and Distribution Information (App Store)
Calist is distributed via the Apple App Store. The subscriptions offered within the App are concluded and billed via the Apple App Store; Apple acts as the payment processor / merchant of record in this respect. The provider of the digital service remains the service provider named under Section 1. Details regarding the contract, the essential characteristics of the service, the total price including value added tax, the term, automatic renewal, termination and the statutory right of withdrawal (including the withdrawal instructions and the model withdrawal form) are set out exclusively in the Terms of Use / General Terms and Conditions at https://pyfinn.github.io/calist-legal/nutzungsbedingungen.html. This Legal Notice does not itself contain any mandatory contractual or consumer-law information.

12. Data Protection
Information on the processing of personal data in Calist can be found in the separate Privacy Policy at https://pyfinn.github.io/calist-legal/datenschutz.html. The Privacy Policy is not part of this Legal Notice. In particular, the Privacy Policy describes:
- AI-assisted meal recognition: when a meal is scanned, the meal photo is transmitted – only for the duration of the analysis – to the provider's backend (Supabase) and onward to an AI service (including in the USA, e.g. OpenRouter, Inc. as a sub-processor routing to AI providers such as Google or Anthropic) in order to estimate nutritional values. The provider does not store meal photos on its servers; retention of the image by the downstream AI provider is governed by that provider's own terms. The estimates are approximate, user-editable and do not constitute medical advice;
- the optional sign-in with Apple ("Sign in with Apple"), where the email address may be a real address or an Apple private-relay (
@privaterelay.appleid.com) address depending on the user's choice; - the anonymous Supabase session (a random user identifier) created to deliver the meal scan and to enforce a per-user usage quota;
- AI usage / quota metering data (e.g. user identifier, model, token counts, cost, timestamp – no image and no meal content) stored on the provider's servers (Supabase);
- subscription management via RevenueCat, Inc. and Apple (payment / card data is collected by Apple and never reaches the provider);
- profile, body-metric, training, nutrition, running and similar data that is stored exclusively locally on the device and is not transmitted to the provider's servers;
- international data transfers to the USA and the applicable safeguards, the legal bases, retention periods and the rights of data subjects (including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority).
